Olive Oil
We grow four kinds of olives at Rancho Milagro. Two are Italian varieties, Frantoio and Coratina. Two are Spanish varieties, Picual and Hojiblanca. All of these are harvested by late-November and milled nearby in Livermore.
We then make it available to all of you -- home cooks, grocery store or specialty market buyer, restaurants, caterers, or food manufacturers.
Typically we blend all four varieties into an award-winning Field Blend, guided by an expert taster.
And we bottle the Frantoio on its own, as it's our largest volume of oil, as those trees make up roughly half of the 3000 trees planted at Rancho Milagro.
Recently added, the Limited Edition is a tasty way to share the flavors of the smaller volume oils by themselves.
